Sheffield United are still reeling from their home defeat last weekend in the Championship to bitter city rivals Sheffield Wednesday. The Blades were beaten 2-1 by the Owls at home, and such a defeat means that they will be desperate to restore some pride.
They will get an opportunity to do so against Yorkshire's only Premier League representatives this season, Hull City. Although the docklands of the east of the county are a relatively long way from the old industrial coal and steel heartlands of South Yorkshire, enough local needle will still be generated to keep the game interesting.
