A key man in the battle to keep Gerrard quiet could be Blues midfielder Frank Lampard, but the 30-year-old believes his side are "back on track" having bounced back from their 3-0 defeat to Manchester United in January with four wins in all competitions.
"We have turned a little corner since we lost at Manchester United," he said. "We have got some good results since then.
"We took a bit of a knock to our confidence but we believe we can win. We are back in second position which is nice and teams are going to drop points.
"They have done all season, we have, Liverpool have, Manchester United have, so we have a chance and it's a massive game coming up."
